Bijoux Society was created by Alexis Vourvoulis, a Californian Ex-Pat with childhood roots in Paris, France. She holds a Graduate Gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America and studied jewelry design and fabrication at the prestigious BJO Formation in Paris.
With 10 years of experience in the industry, Alexis specializes in estate and antique fine jewelry. Fascinated by all elements of the craft, she feels blessed to have a career within a field she so passionately loves, in Paris no less! Alexis admires the work of Henri Vever, Paulding Farnham, Suzanne Belperone, Renée Puissant and René Sim Lacaze, and JAR. She's also a lover and collector of watches, and cats.
